Pressure-Controlled and Power-Controlled Pumps
Both types of products have the capability to automatically adjust the pump's fluid delivery, so the operator does not have to manage this and can fully concentrate on controlling the machinery.
Pressure-controlled devices reduce the amount of fluid delivered as soon as the system pressure reaches the set upper limit. Power-controlled pumps operate on a similar principle, also reducing the amount of fluid delivered at the moment the threshold power is reached.
The disadvantage of these types is that they maintain maximum pressure or power even in situations where less would be sufficient. The resulting difference must be absorbed by the system, causing it to heat up more than ideally necessary.

The solution to the problems of the aforementioned types is provided by load-sensing models. These products can supply the pressure corresponding to the load force acting on the hydraulic cylinder, as well as the amount of fluid appropriate for the speed of the cylinder. In practice, this means that the machine operator sets the required speed, which determines the amount of fluid to be delivered, and the pump thus senses the magnitude of the load acting on the cylinder.
Among the load-sensing types, the most widespread are the axial piston models. These have been on the market the longest, and there is ample feedback and extensive experience available about them. These are exceptionally reliable products, with lifespans comparable to the diesel engines responsible for their drive.
